Over the past year my mom has devoted herself to my recovery. She has let everyone know about me and my ups and downs. She has been an example of faith to so many people. Now it is my turn to tell you how great my mom really is.

She is always thinking of others. She always checks to see if I am comfortable and if I need anything. This is so much a part of her daily routine that I know that all my needs will be met even without asking. Through all these months of recovery, mom has attended every therapy session. She has become my number one cheerleader. Because she has been to every therapy session, she could be a therapist on her own. She knows when to push me and when to lay off.

She is always cheerful and has a good attitude about meeting our family’s daily needs. Anyone who knows our family knows that this can’t always be fun. When I am feeling discouraged or down, she knows just how to lift me up and she even comes shopping with me when it is not her favorite thing.

My mom always looks for the good in things. She is positive about herself and others and makes the best out of the hardest situations.

To sum things up, I’m lucky to have her as a mom. In my eyes, there is no better mom!

Jessica

Jess,..

What a wonderful gift you have given your Mom. The moment in every Mother’s life that they wait for has came to your Mom in the most deserving way. It seems a Mother’s job is continuously working hard for their families, but to finally get the pat on the back that they deserve doesn’t come very often. As rocky as our road has been lately, I know that I have always had a friend in your Mom. I agree with ALL that you said and double it. My hats off to you in your recovery and to your Mom for her dedication, love and complete and honest devotion to her family. She is truly someone I would like to model myself after. Hope you have the best week! Love you, Sandi

Dear Jess:
This is such a sweet and accurate description of your Mother. You are right, she is an example of a powerful faith to so many; and, she is always thinking of others. Amazingly, she is positive about herself and others and makes the best out of even the most difficult situations. I know of these traits, not only from the current situation, but also because I saw them when she and Rhonda helped to raise my oldest boy Jake. We should all be very grateful for the gifts your Mom has brought into so many lives. I know I am.
Love, Eldon

dear jessica,
it is no surprise to me the progress you have made. you have always been able to accomplish that which you have put your mind to do. you have one of the greatest mothers in the world right there by your side to help you with every step of the way. i love your mom with all my heart and appreciate the motivation and encouragement you have given me while i have been serving my mission. i knew from the day that i heard about your accident that you would come out on top no matter how difficult the situation you were placed in. you truly have been an inspiriation and an example to many people around you and especially me. i havent heard much or spoke to you for almost 2 years but i can tell just by looking at your photos that you are improving every day. i admire you for the person you are and the person you have become.

Jessica,& Family, I agree with Sandi, you have given your mom a Most Precious and Priceless Gift, your love and gratitude for all she has done in your behalf. I know that we have all missed her at Mapleton School and I personally know what a wonderful lady she is! We go way back to Sam, Ben and you when you helped in my classroom. what A wonderful group you all are. You are all amazing to me. I feel priviledged to know each one of you. we all still “Pray for Jessica” and your entire family. Thanks for sharing your journey and personal trials with all of us. I would love to see you and your Mom again too and that also goes for the rest of the family. I’m still in that familiar corner at Mapleton. Geri, I miss you every time I walk in that lunch room. I miss our little chats and the beautiful smiles of all the Khrebil ladies. Hope to see you soon. Love Ginnie

Jessica, thanks so much for sharing on Craigs web site. We are convinced in this family that only a loving god, the power of prayer and a strong family brought Craig back to us. We will add you our prayer list and know you will continue with your progress and rehabilitation. Craig is a real example of hard work, and goal setting to accomplish the things he has over the past year. Hes an amazing guy and Im proud to be his grandpa. We lift you up for a gentle recovery. I hope you and Craig will communicate, hes an upbeat guy who can give lots of hope and strength to others. You too will be able to be an example to others who still suffer and an encouragement to thier future. Take care..Larry from Texas

Jessica & Family,
My name is Amber I have a brother who was hit on a motorcycle 9-07-06. We have had many, many people tell us your story. I am SOOOO HAPPY to hear how well you are doing. You are a gourgous girl. I know how your family feels, we live it every day as well. My brother is not doing as well, but he never stops trying. His attitude helps myself & your mother get through everyday. Some days I think WHY, WHY, WHY. Why him. He tells me this everyday, ” I chose this path for a reason, I am not sure why but I did.” Someday we will know.” His faith gives us a drive to go on, please check out his website JUSTINTUFT.COM. I try to update it when I can, you see he only has myself, mom & friends. I can’t express to you or your mom how wonderful it was to read about you. YOU ARE AMAZING!! Keep it up! We are finally bringing my brother home to live for the 1st time since this all happened. It will be a great Christmas! Best of wishes to you & your family! Happy Holidays!! I don’t know of anyone else you is going through all this at the same time. It was nice to relate. Thank you for sharing with everyone.
